Hey everyone - Pronto Valid here. (Yes, in first person)
In case y'll haven't heard - I just released a new single titled “FIRE”, co-produced by myself and Ozzient, featuring quadaintshit on the hook and Zach Balance on background vocals.
To give you some background to it - this track came together during a completely unplanned studio session. There wasn’t any agenda — we were just experimenting, letting the energy go wherever it felt — and what started as a casual idea turned into something we knew we had to finish. Once the beat started to take shape, everything else followed naturally.
quadaintshit delivered a hook that immediately stuck. It was catchy but still had weight — something that fit the tone of the track perfectly. Later on, Zach Balance added subtle background vocals that gave the whole thing a richer, more layered sound.
Initially, there was another artist set to handle the second verse, and they actually recorded something for it. But that verse ended up being used on a different song of theirs, so I stepped in and recorded a new verse myself. Looking back, I think it worked out for the better — it allowed me to bring in a more personal perspective and round out the track in a way that felt authentic to me.
In terms of future plans - We’re currently working on the music video for “FIRE” as well. It’s not dropping right away — we want to give the song some breathing room first and make sure the visuals match the tone and feel of the record. But it’s coming soon.
This release is also the beginning of a larger rollout. I’ve been working on an EP that’s planned for release in the fall. “FIRE” is just a glimpse of the sound and direction I’m exploring currently, but the EP itself will have a completely different vibe to it. I'm very excited to be releasing that soon and I can’t wait to share more!
Thank you to everyone who’s already listened, shared, or supported the new song and my career in any way. More to come soon.
